Students should line up by 8:10 am. Students will start coming outside for dismissal by 2:50pm. The School District considers the following conditions to constitute reasonable cause for absence from school
1. Illness.
2. Quarantine.
3. Recovery from accident.
4. Required court attendance.
5. Death in family.
6. Educational tours and trips, with prior approval.
7. Authorized school activities
ABSENCE
• Students are responsible for obtaining the work they miss due to absences. Please submit an excuse note within 3 days upon returning from the absence.
• 3 or more days of consecutive sickness must be excused by the doctor.
• All absences following 8 cumulative days, require a note from a licensed healthcare provider.
• Family trips can’t be excused. Educational tours & trips must be pre-approved by the principal. LATENESS/EARLY DISMISSAL
• Arriving after 10:15 AM or leaving before 12:54 PM will be counted as an illegal ½ day absence, unless a note from a doctor is provided. Two ½ day illegal absences = 1 full illegal absence ATTENDANCE MATTERS AT LOESCHE SCHOOL SCHOOL HOURS: 8:15-2:54pm 3 unexcused absences: A legal notice will be sent to parent/guardian (C31). 6-10 unexcused absences: A conference will be held to address barriers related to truancy. 10 unexcused absences: Student may be referred to truancy at the Family Court.
