School Hours

School starts promptly at 8:15 a.m. when teachers greet the students in the yard.  Your child should be in line when the second bell rings.   Please do not drop off your students before 8:00 AM. Our staff is not available to supervise before this time. Under no circumstance should any student be left unattended before 8:10 AM on school property, including the parking lot and yards. All Kindergarden students must be supervised by their parents until picked up by their teachers.   Breakfast is served beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the cafeteria.  Students may enter through the yard doors.  All children are entitled to a free breakfast and are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

School is dismissed at 2:54 p.m.  We encourage you to schedule doctor’s appointments for after 2:54 p.m.  Early dismissal is disruptive to the instructional program.

Student Code of Conduct

The Code of Student Conduct provides an outline of the student disciplinary process for schools and parents/guardians.

The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to:

  • outline clear expectations for all school community members
  • provide information around student and parent/guardian rights and supports
  • equip staff with guidelines for addressing student behavior so that our students and school communities can feel safe and grow to be successful.

Acceptable Use Policy

All students at Loesche are required to follow the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for technology use.  This document covers the use of any technology while on school district property, as well as use of school district provided technology outside of the school.

Uniform Policy

Uniforms must be worn EVERYDAY!  The School Reform Commission has adopted a mandatory school uniform policy for all students. Starting the first day of school in September, Loesche students are required to wear the following:
